Explore Aurora adventures with summer camp registration and reservoir passes

Whether you're looking for things for your kids to do this summer, or you're looking for your own adventure, there are plenty of opportunities right around the corner in Aurora.

Registration for the popular recreation summer camps opens Monday, Feb. 3 (except for golf camps, which will begin registration April 1). From art and cooking camps to nature and outdoor camps to sports and fitness camps, there is something for every kid's taste. Space at the camps is limited and can fills up quickly, so head over to AuroraGov.org/DayCamps on Monday to check out this year's offerings and sign up.

If year-round adventure is more to your liking, explore Aurora and Quincy reservoirs by land and water with an annual reservoir pass. Rent kayaks and stand-up paddle-boards for a day on the water, cast the perfect fishing line, discover natural surroundings through interactive nature programs, lounge leisurely at the swim beach, reserve a private shelter for all your celebrations and enjoy miles of scenic trails alongside your four-legged friend or on your favorite bike. Out here, adventure awaits you!

An annual reservoir pass grants access to both Aurora and Quincy reservoirs through the end of the calendar year.

Annual Pass Pricing:
Aurora Resident - $55
Non-resident - $65

Go to AuroraGov.org/OutHere for additional pricing, purchasing, pass pickup and general reservoir information.

Sign up for Camp Spark from Aurora Fire Rescue

Open to Aurora residents ages 12 to 18, Camp Spark is an opportunity for young women to gain confidence, learn about leadership and take on physical challenges in a fire-training atmosphere March 20 to 22. The camp is free.
